How to Install Decals
A decal is a sticker that you can apply to various surfaces, such as windows, walls, or vehicles. There are different methods to install a decal, depending on the type and size of the decal. Here are some general steps to follow:
- Clean the surface where you want to install the decal with a mixture of dish soap and rubbing alcohol. Make sure the surface is dry and free of dust, dirt, or grease.
- Peel off the backing paper from the decal and position it on the surface. You can use a piece of tape to hold it in place and mark the alignment.
- If the decal is large or has a complex shape, you can use a wet solution of water and dish soap to spray on the decal and the surface. This will allow you to adjust the position and smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles.
- Use a squeegee, a credit card, or a similar tool to press the decal firmly onto the surface. Start from the center and work your way out to the edges. Remove any excess water or air bubbles with a paper towel or a cloth.
- Peel off the top layer of the decal slowly and carefully. If the decal starts to lift off, press it back down and squeegee it again.
- Enjoy your new decal!
